About the Role
The Supervisor, Revenue Management provides leadership and oversight for key functions within Reimbursement, Revenue Cycle Accounting, and Financial Reporting across BayCare hospitals and affiliated providers. This role is responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, data integrity, and reporting excellence while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
This position is ideal for a financial professional who enjoys leading teams, analyzing complex financial data, driving process improvements, and partnering with leaders across a large healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and mentor a team of Revenue Management professionals (minimum of three direct reports).
- Oversee reimbursement, revenue cycle accounting, and financial reporting activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Partner with Finance, Revenue Cycle, Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), and operational teams on initiatives that impact financial performance.
- Analyze, interpret, and present complex financial information to support leadership decision-making.
- Lead and participate in projects designed to improve departmental processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and internal controls that support regulatory compliance and financial integrity.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance management for team members.
- Serve as a liaison with external auditors, regulatory agencies, and other key stakeholders as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Required)
- Master's degree (Preferred)
Experience
- 8 years of progressive Accounting or Financial Analysis experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of direct experience preparing and filing hospital Medicare Cost Reports, including supporting workpapers, audits, and settlements.
OR
- 6 years of progressive Reimbursement, Revenue Cycle Accounting, and/or Financial Reporting experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of direct experience preparing and filing hospital Medicare Cost Reports, including supporting workpapers, audits, and settlements.
Certifications
- Revenue Cycle certification (Preferred)
- CPA or other applicable financial certification (Preferred)
