Overview
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Supervisor of Diagnostic Radiology will oversee the daily operations of the Medical Imaging Department, ensuring an exemplary patient experience, delivery of high quality services and compliance with regulatory requirements. Coordinates the activities of staff performing Medical Imaging procedures in collaboration with the Medical Imaging Leadership. May perform direct patient care/imaging as qualified to assist with department workflow.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Associate degree or equivalent technical degree
Experience:
- 5 years of experience in a Medical Imaging modality.
Licenses/Certifications:
- IEMA License in Radiography(Illinois only), ARRT.
- Current American Heart Association Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.
Other skills/knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Enrollment or completion of a Bachelor of Science program.
Experience:
- Prior leadership experience.
- 7 years of experience in a Medical Imaging modality.
