Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with experience
• Preferred experience in lean production environment and medical devices
• Ability to take the lead role, especially in production meetings with engineering and planning
• Experience in capacity analysis and report generation
• Knowledgeable in compliance standards related to medical devices
• Familiarity with production schedules and material handling in lean manufacturing
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of production assemblers, ensuring employee safety and assigned responsibilities
• Ensure all work is performed according to documented procedures, quality and compliance standards
• Set daily, weekly, and monthly schedules to achieve production targets and communicate capacity needs to management
• Act as escalation point for troubleshooting and problem-solving during the production process
• Analyze and drive productivity through Continuous Improvement methods like Kaizen and 3 & 5 Whys
• Prepare production reports for management and present performance metrics in various meetings
• Coach new employees, establish training plans, and verify training records and critical certifications
• Set performance objectives and development plans, create employee engagement action plans, and conduct performance appraisals
