- 10 Operating Rooms with a case mix of ortho/spine, vascular/open heart, laparoscopies, robotic hysterectomies, and spinal fusion cases
- Prepare, supervisor and control budget, monitor and analyze variances.
- Direct employees to meet all mandatory Human Resource requirements.
- Complete performance appraisal of staff members.
- Performs timely and effective service recovery to address patient/family complaints and grievances.
- Participates in people management activities for direct team members such as conducting performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and interviews.
- Oversee the process of assuring the clinical competence of personnel.
- Identifies oncoming shift's staffing needs and initiates action that assists in procuring adequate levels of staffing within their control.
- Remains current in and compliant with new developments and technology in areas of responsibility including documentation, medication administration, and monitoring systems.
Qualifications- Required Bachelor's Degree Nursing / Patient Care
- 3 years Nursing Required
- 1 year Area of practice ore related specialty Preferred
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
- Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board
- Unit Specific Certifications - Franciscan Alliance Required if required by unit
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association Required if required by unit
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association Required if required by unit
