What You'll Do Day-To-Day
Ensure effective performance of engineering assignments.
Plan and direct the timely execution of engineering activities, as assigned.
Ensure projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies, objectives and customer standards.
Ensure adherence to government, organization and customer engineering standards and procedures.
Monitor goals, objectives and standards of performance for assigned team members.
Work interactively with customers and clients to develop strong relationships.
Research and assess best practices, proposing methods and improvements.
Work on special projects, as directed.
Perform other related duties and tasks, as required.
Preferred Skills
Leadership experience supervising direct reports across multi-discipline work groups of engineers and technical specialists. Disciplines may include mechanical, chemical, electrical, and instrumentation & control.
Advanced knowledge of related engineering and technical standards, techniques, and criteria; demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple tasks and projects through subordinates, other work groups, and suppliers
Proficiency with MS Office applications and excellent verbal/written communication skills including the ability to comprehend and convey detailed and often complex technical data clearly and concisely
Interacts effectively with all levels of staff and management and can change priorities quickly, confront issues directly, and work well as part of a team
Project Management experience - capital appropriations, cost, schedule.

Total Rewards Package
Salary: $126,000 - $171,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
