Job SummarySupervises clinical and non-clinical personnel at an offsite outpatient therapy location, overseeing patient care, daily operations, staff performance, and program development. Provides direct patient care within their clinical discipline, as appropriate, for up to 50% of their time.
Essential Functions- Provides direct patient care, including evaluations, treatment planning, goal development, therapeutic interventions, patient/family education, and recommendations for specialized equipment.
- Ensures timely and accurate clinical documentation, billing, and compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
- Supervises, trains, and evaluates clinical and non-clinical staff, providing ongoing feedback, performance evaluations, and guidance on professional development.
- Oversees daily site operations, including scheduling support, productivity monitoring, timekeeping, financial reporting, copayment reconciliation, and supply and equipment needs.
- Coordinates communication among staff, referring providers, hospital departments, and leadership to support effective patient management and continuity of care.
- Conducts staff meetings, supports orientation and competency assessments, and oversees staff education and in-service programs.
- Oversees clinical and operational program development, identifies improvement opportunities, and completes at least one Performance Improvement study annually.
- Ensures appropriate use of electronic health records and administrative and financial systems to monitor site performance and support operational efficiency.
- Promotes teamwork, professional conduct, customer service, and a positive patient experience.
- Maintains required professional licensure, completes mandatory training, and adheres to infection prevention, patient confidentiality, HIPAA, and hospital policies.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree, Master of Applied Science (MAS), or Doctor of Science required.
- Minimum of 8 years of total experience required.
- 2-3 years of relevant outpatient clinical and administrative experience required.
- Current New York State license, or eligibility for licensure, as a Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association preferred.
