We are looking to hire a Project Superintendent for the Madison area! Stevens Construction Corp. is a commercial general contractor headquartered in Madison with self-performed trades of concrete, carpentry, and prefabricated walls; building new construction, multi-unit and mixed-use buildings. This Project Superintendent position is a full-time, year-round opportunity for construction projects in the Madison, WI area.

The Superintendent is responsible for all construction efforts in the field to ensure project is safely constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
- Supervises all Stevens Construction personnel and subcontractors onsite to ensure work is completed accurately, safely and to our quality standards.
- Develops, updates and tracks performance of construction schedule.
- Maintain all jobsite paperwork: daily log, delivery tickets, field work orders, timecards, plans, specs and shop drawings, purchase orders, subcontracts, and project photos.
- Manages and schedules punch list work with owner, architect, and subcontractors.
- Enforces all jobsite safety requirements.
- Creates a positive, professional, friendly environment onsite.
- Maintains a clean and orderly jobsite.
Requirements:
- 10+ years' experience as a commercial new construction Project Superintendent from a general contractor or construction management firm
- Multiple multi-unit, new construction projects from start to finish as the overall jobsite Superintendent
- Ability to read, interpret, and edit construction schematics and documents electronically
- Proficiency within Microsoft Suites and other project scheduling software
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to: standing or walking for long periods of time, occasionally on uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and/or lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds
