Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years' experience in marine construction required.
• Experience with projects involving ports, bridges, walls, and docks.
• General knowledge of construction principles and practices.
• Skilled in managing subcontracts and subcontractors, as well as self-performed work.
• Proven ability to lead a successful project team and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Participate in developing the Project Chart of Accounts with the Project Director and Estimating team.
• Create detailed status reports on project contracts.
• Collaborate on the development of the project site logistics plan.
• Work with the Scheduling Department to develop and regularly update the project schedule.
• Oversee compliance with the McCarthy/Owner contract requirements.
• Manage the pay request process efficiently.
• Monitor project costs and prepare Job Cost Reports.
• Analyze and forecast quarterly Total Cost Projections for the project.
• Implement and oversee staff training initiatives.
• Track project labor effectively and ensure proper resource allocation.
• Review and approve material, forming systems, and equipment requirements.
• Assist in project bidding processes alongside the Estimating team.
• Ensure implementation of safety protocols and Affirmative Action programs.
• Lead and maintain the project's quality assurance processes.
• Develop and oversee project close-out procedures.
