Superintendent
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Job Type: Full-Time | Exempt | In-PersonCORE is seeking a Superintendent with experience in large scale construction to join our Las Vegas team. The Superintendent will manage a singular large project and/or multiple project teams from start-up to punch-out, while exceeding company and client expectations.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead site logistics, project scheduling, and critical path management for subcontractors and vendors.
- Drive safe construction practices, subcontractor coordination, and Lean building practices.
- Oversee quality control and resolution of deficiencies.
- Collaborate with the design team and owner to resolve construction challenges and unforeseen conditions.
- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and constructability.
- Track project progress through daily reporting and weekly schedule updates.
- Lead project closeout, including punch list completion and turnover.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
The superintendent's role is to ensure whatever is required to facilitate the construction of the project on site from beginning to completion while utilizing CORE's best practices in safety, quality, schedule and cost while maintaining relationships with both our trade partners and our clients. These projects are often for a wide range of institutional clients, including colleges, universities, K-12 districts, municipalities, healthcare systems and more.
Pay will be commensurate with skills and experience. This is an exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act and the employee is not eligible for overtime compensation.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years construction experience
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
- Complete and detailed experience with subcontractor and construction sequencing
- Understanding of ASI's RFI's and Material Submittals
- Technology: Experience with Microsoft Office, MS Project and Procore
- Experience with CMAR and/or Design/Build delivery methods
- Must work well in a team environment and be committed to client service
- Must be willing to travel within the state of Nevada
- OSHA 30
- A valid Driver's License
