Join Kilpatrick’s Summer Program! Ranked #5 Program in the Nation

 

Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP invites 1L law students to apply for our 2027 and 2028 Summer Program. Our program is designed to provide a meaningful and immersive experience that allows you to gain valuable skills while working with some of the world’s most innovative companies. A highlight of our program is our firm-wide Summer Associate Retreat focused on professional development and networking. You’ll also get to be part of our commitment to our communities by engaging in pro bono and volunteer opportunities throughout the summer.

 

We are proud that our Summer Program is ranked #5 nationally by The American Lawyer Magazine. In 2025, Kilpatrick achieved perfect scores in eight categories, including opportunities to do real work, a high level of collegiality in the summer class, the firm’s attorneys are people I would enjoy working with, and an overall rating of the firm as a place to work.

 

 

We are currently seeking students with an interest in the following teams and locations:

 

 

What We’re Looking For:
  • Academic Excellence – Demonstrated academic achievement
  • Leadership – Meaningful involvement and leadership in extracurricular activities
  • Technical Backgrounds – For Patent Prosecution roles, a degree in a relevant technical field is required, including:
    • Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Biomedical Engineering
    • Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry (Inorganic/Organic)
    • Advanced STEM degrees are highly encouraged

Compensation:
