Job Summary

Join Kilpatrick's Summer Program! Ranked #5 Program in the Nation

Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP invites 1L law students to apply for our 2027 and 2028 Summer Program. Our program is designed to provide a meaningful and immersive experience that allows you to gain valuable skills while working with some of the world's most innovative companies. A highlight of our program is our firm-wide Summer Associate Retreat focused on professional development and networking. You'll also get to be part of our commitment to our communities by engaging in pro bono and volunteer opportunities throughout the summer.

We are currently seeking students with an interest in the following teams and locations:

What We're Looking For:
  • Academic Excellence - Demonstrated academic achievement
  • Leadership - Meaningful involvement and leadership in extracurricular activities
  • Technical Backgrounds - For Patent Prosecution roles, a degree in a relevant technical field is required, including:
    • Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Biomedical Engineering
    • Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry (Inorganic/Organic)
    • Advanced STEM degrees are highly encouraged
