About this Role
Lead day-to-day construction operations for substation projects from mobilization through project closeout.
Manage field teams, subcontractors, superintendents, inspectors, and project personnel to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project specifications, engineering drawings, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
Champion a proactive safety culture by enforcing company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and client-specific safety programs.
Monitor project schedules, productivity, costs, and resource allocation to achieve project milestones and financial objectives.
Collaborate closely with project management, engineering, procurement, environmental, and quality teams to resolve field issues and maintain project momentum.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Identify construction risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost impacts.
Lead construction planning meetings, subcontractor coordination meetings, and client progress reviews.
Manage change orders, field documentation, daily reports, and construction records.
Support commissioning activities and project turnover while ensuring a seamless transition to the client.

Background working on transmission projects ranging from 69kV to 500kV.
Experience with EPC project delivery and utility infrastructure construction.
Familiarity with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Procore, or similar construction management software.
OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety credentials.

Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, utility safety standards, and environmental compliance requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction contracts.
Willingness to travel throughout South East based on project assignments.
