Structural Engineer The Opportunity: Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big picture thinking to make an impact in national security? As a Structural Engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape the customer's mission by supporting our KC-135 engineering team. You Have: Experience with finite element modeling using FEMAP, Patran, ANSYS, Nastran, or Abaqus Experience with computer aided design (CAD) tools such as CATIA or SolidWorks Ability to create or complete finite element models using load data obtained from the original equipment manufacturer or data obtained from structural test fixtures Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field such as Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering and 5+ years of experience in the Aerospace industry, or Master's degree in an Engineering field such as Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering and 3+ years of experience in the Aerospace industry Nice If You Have: Experience with structural teardown plans, non-destructive and destructive inspections, crack growth behavior, joint load flow, stress severity factors, environmental stresses, and fractographic analysis Experience with creating test plans, procedures, and test results reports Top Secret clearance Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
