Key Responsibilities:- Perform structural analysis and engineering calculations for commercial and institutional building projects.
- Design structural systems utilizing steel, reinforced concrete, wood, and masonry.
- Prepare structural construction drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Review and interpret structural calculations, drawings, and design documents.
- Conduct field observations and construction site inspections involving steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structural systems.
- Prepare clear, concise, and technically accurate engineering reports.
- Coordinate with architects, project managers, contractors, owners, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to Engineers-in-Training (EITs).
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, industry standards, and engineering best practices.
- Support project planning, quality assurance, and successful project delivery.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering emphasis or related discipline.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Structural Analysis
- Steel Design
- Reinforced Concrete Design
- Wood Design
- Masonry Design
- Mechanics of Materials
- Ability to prepare and review structural calculations, engineering reports, and construction documents.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Technical Skills:Experience with one or more of the following software:
- Revit
- RAM Structural System
- RISA
- Enercalc
