Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering
5 to 10 years of structural engineering experience, preferably in industrial projects
Professional Engineer (PE) license required or actively pursuing
Strong knowledge of AISC, ACI, and ASCE 7 codes
Proficient in SAP2000, RISA-3D, and STAAD.Pro
Familiarity with Revit for BIM coordination

Full Job Description
The Intermediate Structural Engineer supports the design and execution of the structural designs for industrial projects and works closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient and cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design steel and concrete structures and foundations for industrial systems.
Develop conceptual designs resulting in optimal layouts and reduced costs.
Review and provide structural input on mechanical drawings, layouts, and vendor proposals.
Prepare calculations, hand and /or CAD sketches, and direct designers in developing project drawings.
Review structural shop drawings and provide engineering support during construction.
Participate in project meetings and coordinate with internal teams.
Travel to project sites as needed
Leadership Responsibilities
Lead portions of projects by developing the designs and coordinating with engineers and 3D designers.
Under the direction of the Chief Engineer; lead assigned projects as the Structural Lead Engineer.
Review work (calculations, models, drawings) and provide feedback.
Responsible for the quality of assigned projects, including adherence to PENTA standards, budgets and schedule.
Assist with estimates and change orders.
Act as Engineer of Record (as licensed) and support department management when needed.
Qualifications
