Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
2-5+ years of relevant experience
Design experience in structural steel and/or concrete
EIT certification preferred
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Proficiency in software: AutoCAD, RISA-3D, STAAD Pro, Mathcad, L-Pile, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and Excel
Familiarity with industry standards: ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, and ACI
Responsibilities
Perform engineering analysis and detailed design for steel, concrete, and foundations
Develop structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
Apply relevant codes and standards and coordinate with various design disciplines
Support senior engineers on large facility projects
Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs during construction
Provide construction phase support, with minimal field time or travel required

JOB DUTIES
Perform Structural engineering analysis and coordinate detailed design for steel, concrete, and foundation systems
Develop structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
Apply applicable codes and standards including ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, and ACI. Coordinate structural designs with civil, geotechnical, mechanical, piping, electrical, and process disciplines
Aide senior engineers in support of large facility projects
Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide construction phase support
Minimal field time and/or travel is expected but may be required at times
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
