Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's preferred
• Professional Registration; S.E. preferred
• 10 years' experience in structural engineering
• Strong knowledge of wind and seismic design
• Proficiency in analysis software like Risa, RAM, ETABS, and SAP2000
• Drafting skills in Revit and Bluebeam
• Excellent work ethic and ambition to succeed

Responsibilities

• Review and establish project scope, budget, and design approaches
• Lead mid-size projects, managing production quality, budget, and schedule
• Stay updated with current code publications and apply in engineering analysis
• Generate innovative design solutions and provide engineering judgment
• Design and analyze structural framing systems and perform necessary calculations
• Conduct field measurements and checks at construction sites
• Review existing structures and recommend reinforcements as needed
• Prepare coordinated construction documents, including drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure project alignment
• Supervise teams, assign tasks, and manage budget adherence
• Communicate scope alterations to engineering management
• Mentor junior engineers and designers
• Utilize structural software to boost productivity and verify results
