Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college is required.
• Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering is preferred.
• 5-7 years of structural design experience with various building systems.
• Professional Engineer Licensure is required; Illinois Structural Engineer Licensure is a plus.
• Familiarity with structural analysis programs like RISA 3D and RAM Structural System, Revit experience is a bonus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Relevant work experience within the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Design structural elements for diverse building projects, including creating design documents and calculations.
• Develop specifications for various building types including healthcare and commercial structures.
• Conduct construction administration duties related to structural design projects.
• Specialize in various materials such as cast-in-place and post-tensioned concrete, steel, masonry, and wood framing.
• Assist with other assigned duties as necessary.
