The Opportunity

As a Strategy& Deals Strategy - Commercial Due Diligence - Sr. Manager you will advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring matters, using market analysis, opportunity assessment, and strategic frameworks to support transaction decisions within our Deals practice. As a Senior Manager you will lead large projects, guide teams through complex situations, and use sound judgment to provide clear direction, practical alternatives, and thoughtful client communication. In this role at PwC, you will help shape deal strategy work, translate findings into clear recommendations, and contribute to the development of diverse teams while maintaining operational excellence across multiple work streams.

Responsibilities

- Leading commercial due diligence workstreams for transaction advisory engagements across mergers, divestitures, and restructuring situations
- Analyzing market trends, industry dynamics, and competitive positioning to assess value creation opportunities and transaction risks
- Building fact-based strategic frameworks using market research, scenario analysis, and financial modeling to inform client decision making
- Evaluating business plans, acquisition strategies, and revenue assumptions through rigorous commercial analysis
- Developing clear, concise narratives that connect market findings, financial implications, and strategic recommendations
- Coordinating senior client discussions, translating complex findings into practical actions, and responding to feedback
- Directing multidisciplinary teams through ambiguous assignments while balancing timelines, quality, and stakeholder needs
- Coaching team members through complex problem solving, technical analysis, and client delivery activities
- Applying systems thinking to identify underlying issues, commercial opportunities, and implications for deal value
- Leveraging tools such as Capital IQ and digital analytics capabilities to strengthen research, benchmarking, and synthesis of findings

- Leading value creation and growth strategy initiatives, driving go-to-market planning and execution to accelerate business expansion and maximize market impact

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 7 years of experience

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for a Master's or Masters of Business Administration degree in Accounting, Analytics/Data Science, or Finance
- Preference for a Master's or Masters of Business Administration degree in Economics, Engineering, or Law/Legal Studies
- Preference for a Master's or Masters of Business Administration degree in Mathematics/Statistics or Operations/Supply Chain
- Delivering commercial diligence insights for deals strategy engagements
- Applying systems thinking to identify underlying opportunities
- Crafting engaging messages for client-facing presentations
- Directing teams through ambiguity with sound judgment

Job Posting End Date

The salary range for this position is: $124,000 - $280,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
