Full Job Description
We are seeking a Strategy & Analytics Analyst to support Wealth Management's enterprise data strategy and cloud modernization initiatives. The role will help advance the centralization of critical data domains onto Snowflake, support data migration and legacy decommission efforts, and improve the way analytics users discover, access, and consume trusted data. The Analyst will partner with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Marketing Technology, Analytics & Data teams, data engineering partners, and governance stakeholders to intake data requests, document requirements, track delivery progress, and support roadmap execution. This individual will also help map data domains across legacy and cloud environments, maintain project documentation, prepare stakeholder updates, and contribute to process improvements that increase transparency, efficiency, and adoption. The ideal candidate is an early-career professional with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, along with an interest in data platforms, Snowflake, product management, analytics, and enterprise transformation. Responsibilities: - Support Wealth Management data migration, modernization, and decommission initiatives. - Assist with intake, documentation, and prioritization of data capability requests. - Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and delivery documentation. - Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, issues, and stakeholder decisions. - Help document authoritative data sources, lineage, metadata, and data quality considerations. - Build analyses, dashboards, scorecards, and status materials to support decision-making. - Prepare executive-ready updates, meeting materials, and roadmap summaries. - Partner with business, technology, analytics, data engineering, and governance teams. - Support adoption through documentation, training materials, user feedback, and communication plans. - Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate reporting, and enable scalable analytics consumption. Qualifications: - 4-6 years of experience in strategy, analytics, product support, business analysis, project management, data platforms, or technology delivery. - Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to document requirements and translate business needs into actionable plans. - Familiarity with SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, Jira preferred. - Understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata, lineage, and cloud data platforms preferred. - Financial services, Wealth Management, Marketing, or client data experience is a plus. - Undergraduate Degree required Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $140,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
