You are a Strategic Sourcing Business Partner who primarily supports one or multiple business units or contract categories and builds a rapport with their operation team members while also supporting cross-operating group sourcing opportunities. You will work closely with the operations and leadership team members within the assigned operating group(s) to identify opportunities to source requirements, enhance value through pricing and service levels, and manage supply chain risks. Contract portfolio may include agreements supporting projects and operations across both Canada and the United States.
The Strategic Sourcing Business Partner will be responsible for conducting in-depth data analysis and market reviews, building cost models, and evaluating sourcing options.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Create supply-demand evaluation reports, inventory costing analyses, and supply chain assessment reports
- Collaborate with business unit managers to ensure accountability and realization of benefits from sourcing initiatives
- Coordinate with procurement, material planning, and other supply chain teams across Ledcor to anticipate future demand and proactively manage spend categories
- Provide support for project startups and mobilization, including local vendor negotiations for partnered business units
- Conduct market reviews to evaluate the availability, capability, and competitiveness of suppliers in a given market category
- Prepare and distribute RFx events (Requests for information, quotation or proposals) consolidating and analyzing responses for decision-making
- Conduct negotiations with vendors, manage the contracting process, partner with the business units and legal focals to ensure optimal terms and conditions
- Plan and support the implementation and rollout of new services and vendor partnerships
- Establish vendor management Key Performance Indicator (KPI) scorecards and conduct regular business performance reviews (BPRs)
- Help manage vendor-non-conformance messaging, claims management and remedial action discussions, and execute any necessary contract amendments or contract terminations.
- Conduct detailed analysis of company supply chain and third-party spending using accounts payable and other cost records to identify trends
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on strategic sourcing, procurement, and materials management
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis, with the ability to interpret and derive actionable insights from transactional and supply chain data
- Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of construction, infrastructure, energy, and/or telecommunications industries, including market dynamics and supplier landscapes
- Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate cost models, trends, and supplier performance
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Proficient in basic computer applications, with a solid understanding of digital tools that enhance sourcing and procurement functions
- Familiarity with modern sourcing tools, RFx platforms, and procurement systems is an asset
