Job Description

Position Summary:
The Strategic Initiatives Office is seeking a highly capable Project Manager / Strategy professional to lead high-priority, cross-functional initiatives across a growing energy business. The role will span value creation, strategy execution, business transformation, and enterprise technology initiatives-from business case development and planning through implementation, adoption, and benefits realization. This individual will serve as both a hands-on delivery leader and a strategic thought partner, translating executive priorities and ambiguous business challenges into structured workplans, driving alignment across functions, solving complex business problems, and developing fact-based recommendations for senior leadership. The role offers significant exposure to executive leadership and the opportunity to influence some of the company's most important initiatives. The role has high visibility and access to the C-Suite.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Lead complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives from problem definition and business case development through implementation and benefits realization Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across different seniority levels, translating business goals into clear project plans

Qualifications:
Education, Certificates, and Licenses:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field

Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, strategy consulting, private equity operations teams or a closely related role

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects involving multiple stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort in financial/data analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation ability
  • Strong facilitation and influencing skills, including the ability to drive alignment without direct authority
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualification:
  • Prior Experience in the energy industry is preferred
  • Experience with digital transformation or change management initiatives
  • Experience with high-growth, sponsor-backed businesses also a preference
