MDW Associates is seeking Senior and Expert Strategic CommunicationsAnalysts to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency in the Fort Belvoir Springfield, Virginia area. These positions will develop and execute communications that explain organizational capabilities, support executive decision making, inform internal and external audiences, and coordinate responses to senior leadership and Congressional requests.
These positions are fully onsite at NGA facilities.
The Strategic Communications Analyst may perform a combination of some or all of the following duties:
- Develop, coordinate, and execute strategic communications plans for internal and external audiences.
- Draft and edit executive speeches, talking points, workforce messages, memoranda, briefings, project plans, concept plans, fact sheets, articles, and other communications products.
- Assess communications metrics and data and recommend adjustments to communications strategies and products.
- Plan, standardize, coordinate, and deliver communications that explain organizational capabilities, services, priorities, and results.
- Support weekly activity reporting and other recurring leadership communications.
- Coordinate visits, executive engagements, and communications requirements across internal offices and external stakeholders.
- Support Congressional requests, including talking points, Congressionally Directed Actions, Congressional Notifications, and responses to requests for information.
- Develop written and visual content for presentations, newsletters, corporate messages, websites, communications campaigns, and similar products.
- Maintain and publish content using standard business applications and SharePoint based websites.
Required Experience/Education:- Senior Level
- At least ten years of relevant experience with a master's degree.
- Expert Level
- Industry recognized expertise in strategic communications, executive communications, public affairs, or a related field.
Preferred Experience/Skills:- Direct experience supporting NGA, GEOINT, the Department of War, or the Intelligence Community.
- Experience supporting Congressional affairs or coordinating formal responses to senior Government stakeholders.
- Experience communicating commercial technology, GEOINT, acquisition, or mission capabilities.
Security Requirement(s):- Maintain an active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information access and remain eligible for NGA adjudication and access.
- Comply with NGA security requirements and complete a counterintelligence scope polygraph when required.
- Comply with all requirements for access to NGA facilities, systems, information, and approved classified workspaces.
