Valuation, Fundraising & Ownership Strategy
- Lead valuation analysis and build dynamic financial models to guide fundraising, pricing, and growth decisions.
- Develop compelling, data-driven valuation narratives aligned with investor expectations and market benchmarks.
- Prepare for and support funding rounds, including term sheet negotiations and investor communications.
- Advise the CEO and board on optimal fundraising structures (equity, SAFEs, convertibles, or hybrids).
- Design, maintain, and optimize a forward-looking cap table aligned with company milestones, dilution management, and long-term value creation.
- Build tools and systems that provide real-time visibility into ownership, valuation, and dilution scenarios.
Financial, Legal & Operational Leadership
- Partner with legal counsel to design efficient corporate, capital, and governance structures that support valuation growth.
- Ensure compliance across financing, tax, and equity activities while minimizing risk and enhancing enterprise value.
- Build and lead a lean, high-impact finance function that scales with the business.
- Oversee financial operations including reporting, forecasting, budgeting, cash flow, and modern systems and dashboards.
- Lead due diligence preparation and financial transparency for investors and stakeholders.
Strategic Partner to the CEO & Board
- Serve as a trusted financial strategist and thought partner to the CEO and board.
- Translate financial insights into clear strategic actions that accelerate growth and valuation.
- Foster investor confidence through disciplined communication, precision, and long-term strategic foresight.
What we are looking for
- ·Proven experience as a CFO, VP Finance, or senior financial leader in a startup or high-growth environment.
- ·Expertise in startup valuation, fundraising, and investor relations — from seed to Series B/C or exit.
- ·Strong understanding of cap table management, equity structuring, and legal compliance.
- ·Skilled in financial modeling, scenario planning, and data-driven decision-making.
- ·Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial, and resource-efficient environment.
- ·Excellent communication and negotiation skills with investors and stakeholders.
