Salary: $118,000 - $185,700

Reports to: VP of Sales & Marketing

Location: Onsite.

KULR Technology Location: Webster, Texas

Position Overview

KULR Technology Group is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Strategic Account Manager to lead the growth and development of key strategic customer accounts. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong executive and operational relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding KULR's presence across customer organizations, programs, and applications.

The Strategic Account Manager will serve as the primary commercial point of contact for assigned strategic accounts, developing a deep understanding of customer objectives, technical requirements, business priorities, and future program needs. The role will partner closely with KULR's engineering, program management, operations, and executive teams to develop customer solutions, advance opportunities, and convert pipeline into sustainable revenue.

The successful candidate will take a proactive, account-based approach to growing KULR's business by identifying opportunities beyond individual projects and establishing KULR as a long-term strategic technology partner. Success will be measured by account revenue growth, expansion of KULR's footprint within strategic customers, development and conversion of a robust opportunity pipeline, and increased adoption of KULR technologies across multiple programs and applications.

Functions:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue, pipeline, customer retention, and long-term growth objectives across assigned strategic accounts.
  • Build and expand customer relationships across engineering, program management, supply chain, procurement, and executive leadership to increase KULR's visibility, influence, and strategic alignment within customer organizations.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities by understanding customer requirements, technology roadmaps, program needs, budgets, schedules, and applications where KULR's products and technologies can provide value.
  • Drive opportunities through the complete sales cycle, from initial identification and qualification through technical evaluation, proposal development, negotiation, contract award, and production, while coordinating appropriate internal and customer stakeholders.
  • Expand KULR's footprint within existing accounts by identifying opportunities to introduce additional products and technologies across programs, platforms, divisions, business units, and applications.
  • Lead cross-functional customer engagement by coordinating with Engineering, Program Management, Operations, Contracts, Finance, and Executive Leadership to address customer requirements, develop solutions, support proposals, and resolve issues.
  • Manage account and sales performance data by maintaining accurate CRM records, opportunity pipelines, revenue forecasts, customer activity, sales milestones, and next steps, while providing timely reporting on account health, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Monitor market and customer intelligence to identify emerging technologies, competitive threats, industry trends, and future program opportunities, and translate insights into actionable strategies that strengthen KULR's customer relationships and generate sustainable revenue growth.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic account management, business development, technical sales, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Demonstrated success developing and growing complex B2B customer accounts and generating incremental revenue.
  • Experience managing long-cycle sales involving technical evaluations, procurement, contracting, and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience working with engineering-driven organizations, technical products, or complex technologies.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage sales pipelines, revenue forecasts, account plans, and CRM activity.
  • Experience expanding existing customer relationships into new programs, applications, business units, or product areas.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, operations, program management, finance, and executive leadership.
  • Experience working with aerospace, defense, space, energy storage, battery technology, or other advanced technology industries is highly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of strategic account management, business development, consultative selling, and complex B2B sales processes.
  • Ability to develop and execute account strategies, growth plans, revenue targets, and opportunity pipelines.
  • Strong ability to identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities within existing and prospective strategic accounts.
  • Knowledge of technical products, engineering-driven sales environments, and complex customer requirements, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to establish credibility with technical, operational, procurement, and executive audiences.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence customer decisions and advance opportunities.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs, market trends, competitive activity, and business opportunities and translate findings into actionable account strategies.
  • Strong CRM, pipeline management, forecasting, and sales analytics skills, with the ability to maintain accurate opportunity and revenue information.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and coordinate internal resources across engineering, operations, program management, finance, contracts, and executive leadership.
  • Strong business judgment, strategic thinking, problem-solving, organization, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple strategic accounts and long sales cycles.
  • Intermediate use of computers and Microsoft Office Suite Applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and accounting software packages (NetSuite preferred)
