Job Summary
The Strategic Account Director serves as a senior leader within the dedicated team responsible for managing and growing one of the company's most strategic and complex client relationships. Operating as the principal deputy to the Lead Account Executive, this individual plays a critical role in driving account strategy, commercial performance, operational excellence, and long-term customer success.
What You'll Do...
Strategic Relationship Leadership
Build trusted relationships across all levels of the client organization.
Serve as a strategic advisor to customer stakeholders.
Lead Executive Business Reviews (EBRs), QBRs, and governance meetings.
Develop stakeholder engagement strategies.
Act as client representative when the Lead Account Executive is unavailable.
Account Strategy & Business Planning
Develop and execute account strategy and growth roadmap.
Identify opportunities to increase account penetration and value.
Monitor revenue, profitability, service, and retention objectives.
Develop account health assessments and executive recommendations.
Commercial Management & Growth
Protect, retain, and grow revenue.
Support pricing strategies, proposals, renewals, and RFPs.
Partner with finance on revenue and margin objectives.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Coordinate sales, operations, finance, procurement, technology, and customer service resources.
Drive accountability and internal alignment.
Lead reviews, planning, status, and escalation meetings.
Operational Excellence & Execution
Ensure flawless program execution.
Monitor service delivery metrics.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Risk Management & Escalation Leadership
Identify operational, financial, service, and relationship risks.

Requirements
