They troubleshoot hardware issues, manage and configure Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems, maintain network integrity, and implement enhancements for improved reliability and performance. The role includes optimizing system operations, conducting capacity planning, and delivering day-to-day support, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server, storage, network, and mobile devices.
