Overview

*All positions are located in Fresno/Clovis CA*

 

ResponsibilitiesAccountable for a specific aspect of pharmacy workflow in the main pharmacy. This specific aspect would revolve around the compounding of sterile products within the pharmacy. Ensure regulations are being met in the area that include but are not limited to: validation of designated cleanroom/bufferroom areas and continual monitoring of particulate airflow. Ensure competency evaluation and documentation of all compounded sterile product activities, adhering to record keeping requirements, monitoring quality assurance program for compounded sterile products, and maintaining overall compliance with required workflow by employees who work in the cleanroom/bufferroom areas. QualificationsEXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: MINIMUM REQUIRED: Bachelors degree in Pharmacy. Three years experience in hospital pharmacy practice or completion of Post Graduate Year 1 (PGY1). PREFERRED: Experience in compounding sterile products and knowledge of USP 797 Guidelines. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS MINIMUM REQUIRED: Valid State of California Pharmacist license.
