Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering from an accredited program required.
• Professional certification (EIT) and/or professional engineer licensure strongly desired.
• 3 years of related experience in high voltage overhead transmission line design required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team with strong analytical and problem-solving skills vital.
• Experience in 69kV to 500kV line design preferred, along with proficiency in power line design software like PLS-CADD.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee engineering responsibilities related to overhead transmission line design.
• Perform PLS-CADD modeling, line routing, and structural analysis.
• Prepare specifications and construction drawings for high voltage overhead transmission lines.
• Conduct cost estimates for transmission line projects.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers.
• Potential to develop into a leadership role, interfacing with clients and leading engineering teams.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
