Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in electrical, computer, or related engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited program and 3 years of utility telecommunications project experience required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to apply extensive knowledge of principles and practices to a variety of assignments.
• Capability to devise innovative approaches to encountered problems.
• Engineers in Training-EIT Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the design of telecommunications networks using client or new standards.
• Deliver project outputs, including specifications, equipment plans, and network diagrams.
• Execute complex assignments with advanced tools, developing improved processes and methods.
• Identify and communicate project issues for resolution.
• Guide and mentor less experienced staff members.
• Collaborate with project managers to adhere to schedules and deadlines.
• Ensure client satisfaction with deliverables and compliance with QA/QC guidelines.
• Conduct design quality reviews.
