Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a StaffSystems Engineering & Integration Team (SEIT) Lead for Interim Contractor Support (ICS) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located on-site in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma & Melbourne, Florida.

We are seeking a dynamic Systems Engineering (SE) leader to drive the technical execution of a high visibility ICS contract within the Operations and Sustainment (O&S) Business Unit (BU). The successful candidate will manage all SE disciplines— Specialty Engineering, Configuration & Data Management, Systems Integration, and Systems Architecture & Requirements —while ensuring the program meets schedule, cost, and performance objectives. The selected candidate reports to Strike's Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) EI&E Director. This role demands a hands on technical expert who can also act as a catalyst for process improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct periodic SE process reviews and present at recurring ICS Program Management Reviews
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement best practice enhancements
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., root cause analysis, lessons learned capture, tool integration)
  • Direct day to day execution of Specialty Engineering, Configuration & Data Management, Systems Integration, and Systems Architecture & Requirements activities
  • Mentor and develop a multidisciplinary SE team, fostering a collaborative, results oriented culture.
  • Ensure review deliverables are complete, technically sound, and aligned with program milestones (including SEMP updates, in addition to other deliverables).
  • Contribute technical expertise to long term effort proposals, cost estimates, and schedule forecasts.
  • Oversee SEIT BOEs and regular verification of the BOEs during execution
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate technical risks; capture and implement program opportunities
  • Maintain a living risk register and provide status updates to senior leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelors degree in a STEM field and at least 12 years of relevant military / professional experience, OR a Master's Degree in a STEM field and at least 10 years of relevant military / professional experience, OR a PhD and at least 8 years of relevant military / professional experience.
  • Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.
  • Currently briefed to and supporting applicable program statement of work.
  • Must have experience executing Systems Engineering processes, including full Systems Engineering life cycle and Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR)
  • Experience with BOE development.
  • Experience briefing technical presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced STEM degree.
  • Knowledge of Specialty Engineering, Configuration & Data Management, Systems Integration, and Systems Architecture & Requirements.
  • Leadership and team-lead experience.
  • Prior experience with Sustaining Engineering.

Primary Level Salary Range: $144,900.00 - $229,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
