This will include patients normally seen in an acute care clinic or primary physician's office but will usually not include longitudinal care.
Position QualificationsExperience- Current or recent experience in Psychiatry is preferred
Education- Graduate of an approved medical school is required
- Successful completion of residency training in an ACGME accredited in Psychiatry program is required
Required Certification/Licensure- Board Certified/Eligible in Psychiatry by the Oregon State Board of Medical Examiners (OSBME)
- MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified from American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start
- Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges this includes but is not limited to, holding position-specific certifications/memberships as determined by Asante Medical Staff team
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
- Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
