About the RoleThis is an impactful position, working closely with planners around the world, conducting thorough research to elicit requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
About YouYou're a "product person" who knows how to build software products.
You speak the language of engineers and designers, yet you don't rely too heavily on them to devise and evaluate solutions.
Intellectual honesty, personal integrity, curiosity, and EQ shape how you work with end users and elicit non-obvious requirements.
Async or IRL, you style-flex to meet your audience where they're at, distill complexity to simplicity, and have an "owner's mentality."
What You'll DoYou will lead product initiatives that make military staffs superhuman and bring people home safely. You will work alongside the operators who imagined and built Onebrief - the product they needed.
Our team is highly specialized, and the core skillset for this role is a deep-thinker who understands complex systems and workflows.
You will work across our squads, rotating fluidly across domains, using a product perspective to create a seamless user experience.
What We Look For- You have a comprehensive understanding of the current state of web technologies and best practices, and are forever experimenting with what's "next"
- You are naturally inclined to apply a design thinking approach to problem solving, and iteratively seek to understand your users, challenge assumptions, redefine problems and create innovative solutions which you can prototype and test
- Attention to detail and pragmatism
- Crisp, clear, concise communications, both written and orally.
- You have an "owner's mentality" and are comfortable sharing your ideas and perspective with the C-suite, and you take accountability when they reflect in the real-world
- Experience developing B2B/SaaS products using modern collaboration tools
- Most importantly:
- You are collaborative, work iteratively, and are scrappy and solutions-oriented
- You have an understanding of or interest in the military and defense tech space
- You thrive as a self-starter, embracing autonomy and ambiguity
- You are a U.S. citizen
