Full Job Description
The Role

As Staff Product Manager, Acquisition at Linktree, you will own one of the most important growth challenges in our business: bringing more new users into Linktree and building scalable, product-led acquisition loops that expand our reach.

Linktree serves a massive global audience of creators, entrepreneurs, businesses, artists, publishers, and brands. Your work will shape how the next generation of users discovers Linktree, moves from a profile or external touchpoint into sign-up, and ultimately enters the product ready to experience value.

This is a senior, high-impact product leadership role for someone who thinks deeply about growth loops, funnels, organic acquisition, and experimentation. You will work across the very top of the customer journey - from SEO and profile-to-signup experiences to referrals, landing pages, claim flows, and entirely new tools designed to bring more users into the Linktree ecosystem.

You will partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Growth Marketing, SEO, Lifecycle, Activation, and executive leadership to define Linktree's acquisition strategy and build the systems that drive sustainable new-user growth at scale.

What You Will Own

  • Own Linktree's product-led acquisition strategy, with a clear mandate to grow the number of new users entering the Linktree ecosystem.
  • Own and optimize the profile-to-signup journey, including "Powered by Linktree," "Claim your Linktree," creator discovery, sign-up, authentication, and other pathways that turn visitors into Linktree users.
  • Identify and build scalable organic acquisition loops across Linktree's massive network of profiles, content, creators, businesses, and audience traffic.
  • Partner closely with Growth Marketing and SEO to improve organic discovery, landing-page conversion, SEO/AEO performance, and the journey from external discovery into the product.
  • Own and evolve Linktree's referral strategy, including the product experiences, incentives, and growth mechanics that encourage creators to bring new users into the ecosystem while carefully managing incrementality and cannibalization.
  • Develop new acquisition products and tools that provide standalone value to creators and businesses while introducing them to Linktree - from social presence and audience-growth tools to new ways of helping prospective users understand how they compare, improve, and grow.
  • Explore creative, zero-to-one acquisition opportunities across new customer segments, including ways to identify prospective users, create relevant Linktree experiences for them, and build compelling "claim your Linktree" journeys.
  • Develop a high-velocity experimentation roadmap across acquisition surfaces, focused on increasing qualified traffic, signup conversion, referral growth, and overall new-user acquisition.
  • Lead deep funnel analysis to understand where prospective users discover Linktree, where they drop off before sign-up, and which interventions have the greatest potential to unlock growth.
  • Partner closely with the Activation team to create a seamless handoff from acquisition into activation, ensuring the users and segments we bring into Linktree have a clear path to reaching value.
  • Partner with Data to ensure acquisition channels, loops, funnels, and experiments are well-instrumented and measurable.
  • Communicate acquisition strategy, experiment results, tradeoffs, and business impact clearly to senior leadership and executive audiences.
  • Raise the bar for growth product craft at Linktree by bringing strong experimentation discipline, creative growth thinking, and customer empathy into the product organization.

What We Are Looking For

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with significant experience in growth, acquisition, product-led growth, SEO, referrals, virality, funnel optimization, or adjacent growth disciplines.
  • Proven experience owning a large-scale consumer, prosumer, marketplace, creator, SaaS, or self-serve growth funnel with meaningful user volume.
  • A track record of driving measurable new-user growth through product-led acquisition, experimentation, organic growth loops, referrals, conversion optimization, or new acquisition surfaces.
  • Strong understanding of how product, SEO, content, marketing, and distribution can work together to create compounding organic growth.
  • Strong analytical depth: you are fluent in funnel analysis, segmentation, experimentation design, attribution, conversion metrics, and metric definition.
  • Hands-on experience with product analytics and experimentation tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Looker, Mode, Optimizely, Statsig, or similar.
  • Experience identifying and building zero-to-one growth opportunities, particularly where the path forward is ambiguous and requires experimentation rather than simply optimizing an existing funnel.
  • Excellent executive communication skills, including the ability to present complex data, crisp narratives, and strategic recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Strong product judgment: you know when to optimize an existing acquisition surface, when to build a new growth loop, and when an unconventional idea is worth testing.
  • Experience partnering deeply with Design and Engineering to ship polished, scalable, user-centered product experiences.
  • Comfort operating across traditional team boundaries and partnering closely with Product, Marketing, SEO, Data, Lifecycle, and other growth functions.
  • High agency and a willingness to explore unconventional approaches to growth. You are comfortable asking, "How could we make this happen?" even when the answer does not fit neatly into how the company operates today.
  • A strong customer instinct and curiosity about how creators, businesses, and brands discover and adopt digital tools to grow their presence, audience, and income.

How You Work

  • You think in growth loops, not just features. You are constantly looking for ways the product itself can create discovery, distribution, referrals, and compounding new-user growth.
  • You are deeply data-driven, but not data-blind. You use numbers to identify opportunities, customer insight to understand them, and experimentation to determine what actually drives incremental growth.
  • You love the top of the funnel. You naturally think about where users come from, what motivates them to take the next step, where they drop off, and how product experiences can turn discovery into adoption.
  • You are creative and highly experimental. Optimizing an existing sign-up flow is interesting to you, but so is asking whether Linktree should build an entirely new tool, growth loop, referral mechanic, or customer journey to reach an audience we are not reaching today.
  • You have high agency. You are comfortable taking an ambiguous opportunity, figuring out what needs to happen across Product, Engineering, Marketing, SEO, Data, or other teams, and driving it forward.
  • You are a strategic communicator. You can dig into experiment design with a data scientist, work through technical tradeoffs with engineers, sharpen a conversion journey with Design, partner with Marketing on distribution, and then walk an executive team through the business case with confidence.
  • You move quickly, but with discipline. You know how to balance speed, craft, and signal quality so the team is not simply shipping more experiments - it is learning faster and finding repeatable sources of growth.
  • You care about bringing more people into the Linktree ecosystem. Acquisition at Linktree is not simply buying traffic or optimizing a landing page. It is finding creative, scalable ways to help creators, businesses, and brands discover Linktree, understand why it is valuable to them, and take the first step toward making it part of their digital presence.

Linktree is committed to providing a fair and competitive compensation package including cash, equity, and benefits. The base salary offered for this role is targeted at $215,000-$230,000 for roles based in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Final offers depend on multiple factors including location, experience, expertise, and role scope, and may vary from the range listed.

P.S. If you don't tick every box in this listing, please don't rule yourself out. We take pride in inclusion and hiring incredible human beings with great potential over ticking boxes - so if this role resonates with you, hit that apply button!
