General Summary:Join Qualcomm's rapidly expanding Data Center Business Unit as a Staff Product Manager, where you'll help shape the future of AI-driven data center solutions. You will work across engineering, architecture, business development, and customers to define and deliver innovative AI infrastructure products, from accelerators and software to rack-scale systems, enabling next-generation AI deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive product definition and execution for AI-centric data center platforms and infrastructure components.
- Gather and analyze customer, market, and competitive requirements to identify key product opportunities and priorities.
- Partner with silicon architects, hardware, firmware, and software teams to translate customer needs into detailed product requirements and specifications.
- Support system-level planning across compute, memory, networking, power, cooling, and rack-scale infrastructure.
- Engage directly with hyperscale cloud providers, enterprise customers, and ecosystem partners to understand workloads, requirements, and deployment models.
- Coordinate cross-functional execution from concept through product launch, ensuring alignment across engineering, business, and customer-facing teams.
- Develop product positioning, customer presentations, competitive analysis, and go-to-market materials.
- Track product adoption, customer feedback, and market trends to drive future roadmap decisions.
This is an office based position located in San Diego, CA and is expected to comply with the company's onsite work policy.
Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:- 6+ years of product management experience in semiconductors, AI infrastructure, data center systems, networking, or related technology areas.
- Solid understanding of AI accelerators, CPUs, GPUs, memory subsystems, high-speed interconnects, storage technologies, or data center architectures.
- Experience defining product requirements and working closely with engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Ability to engage effectively with customers and translate technical requirements into business and product objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience evaluating market opportunities and competitive landscapes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience with AI/ML workloads, large language models, or cloud-scale infrastructure.
- Familiarity with technologies such as PCIe, CXL, Ethernet, InfiniBand, UAL, HBM, LPDDR, or large-scale system architectures.
- Experience working with hyperscale cloud providers, OEMs, or strategic technology partners.
- Understanding of AI software ecosystems, frameworks, compilers, or optimization toolchains.
- Technical publications, patents, or demonstrated contributions to innovative technology products.
Location & Travel- Based in San Diego, CA.
- Occasional travel to customer sites, partner locations, industry events, and Qualcomm development centers.
Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits: $179,200.00 - $268,800.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
