Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program and 3 years of pipeline engineering experience required; consulting preferred.
• Master's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering with 2 years of pipeline engineering experience required; consulting preferred.
• Strong knowledge in standard pipeline engineering techniques and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work methodically in a quantitative problem-solving environment.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and ATF.
• Engineers in Training (EIT) Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipeline design from conceptual phase to completion.
• Modify and review production drawings for projects including transmission and distribution pipelines.
• Design pipeline components according to project needs set by project managers.
• Research and compile project-related data, studies, and reports for project managers.
• Update drawings from senior engineers verifying corrections across CAD software programs.
• Prepare information for client presentations and contract administration for pipeline designs.
• Conduct field inspections, measurements, or calculations for various clients.
