About:- Full-time position
- Location: Brawley, CA
- Schedule: Willingness to work off hours and overtime to attend to patients.
- Travel: Required to rotate between all the Health Clinics as needed.
The Role:This role is focused on providing high-quality medical care to patients while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals. The Staff Physician will play a key role in patient management, documentation, and compliance with medical protocols, ensuring the best outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide highest standard of outpatient medical care to patients
- Take responsibility for accurate charting and documentation
- Manage cases for patients with chronic conditions
- Consult with Medical Director on diagnosis or management problems
- Arrange timely consultations with specialists
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to clinic improvement
- Prescribe essential medicine to patients
- Facilitate audits for compliance with State and Federal regulations
- Serve as preceptor for medical students and Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant students
- Participate in daily team meetings/huddles
- Support nursing staff in implementing policies and procedures
Qualifications:- Doctorate degree
- Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification/license
- Valid Medical Doctor (MD) certification/license in the state of California (CA)
- ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP)
- American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
