About:
  • Full-time position
  • Location: Brawley, CA
  • Schedule: Willingness to work off hours and overtime to attend to patients.
  • Travel: Required to rotate between all the Health Clinics as needed.

The Role:

This role is focused on providing high-quality medical care to patients while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals. The Staff Physician will play a key role in patient management, documentation, and compliance with medical protocols, ensuring the best outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide highest standard of outpatient medical care to patients
  • Take responsibility for accurate charting and documentation
  • Manage cases for patients with chronic conditions
  • Consult with Medical Director on diagnosis or management problems
  • Arrange timely consultations with specialists
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to clinic improvement
  • Prescribe essential medicine to patients
  • Facilitate audits for compliance with State and Federal regulations
  • Serve as preceptor for medical students and Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant students
  • Participate in daily team meetings/huddles
  • Support nursing staff in implementing policies and procedures

Qualifications:
  • Doctorate degree
  • Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification/license
  • Valid Medical Doctor (MD) certification/license in the state of California (CA)
  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP)
    • American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
