Qualifications

• Part A licensed by the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia, in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience, preferably in a mail-order or high volume setting.
• Advanced proficiency in Kroll and general pharmacy IT systems.
• Strong attention to detail in prescription preparation and documentation is essential.
• Self-motivated with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions accurately and safely using established workflow procedures.
• Counsel patients on new therapies, ensuring their understanding and comfort with medications.
• Monitor patient adherence and provide medication consultations.
• Maintain patient profiles and records while adhering to privacy and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, and other pharmacy staff to facilitate efficient operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulations set by NAPRA and the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
• Support shift coverage on short notice when necessary.
