Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in designing mechanical systems for data centers or industrial facilities.
• Proficient in hydronic systems, heat transfer, and chilled-water systems.
• Ability to develop and review technical documentation such as P&IDs and mechanical layouts.
• Understanding of mechanical redundancy and operational requirements.
• Experience in evaluating system performance under varying conditions.
• Familiarity with safety codes and standards relevant to mechanical engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical design standards for large AI data centers.
• Develop cooling architectures for new and existing facilities.
• Design critical cooling infrastructure, including central plants and heat-rejection systems.
• Perform complex engineering calculations for cooling loads and system capacities.
• Review and create essential design documents including P&IDs and layouts.
• Select and size critical cooling equipment and systems.
• Evaluate designs for efficiency, maintainability, and compliance with standards.
