We are seeking a Staff Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience and grow within our geotechnical division. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and technical staff on meaningful projects that shape the built environment.
Compensation: $75,000 to 90,000 annual salary
Location: Centennial, CO
FLSA Exemption: Exempt

What you'll be doing:- Plan and conduct geotechnical exploration programs
- Perform field and laboratory investigations to assess subsurface and site conditions
- Analyze geotechnical findings and perform engineering calculations
- Prepare geotechnical reports and documentation for review by senior engineers
- Support and guide field inspection teams during site activities
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure timely project completion
- Assist with evaluating team performance and identifying training needs
- Perform general office administrative tasks as needed
What you have:- Bachelor of Science in Geotechnical, Civil, or Geological Engineering (or related field)
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering (Colorado preferred)
- Proficiency in soil mechanics and geotechnical analysis
- Ability to solve engineering challenges with creativity and critical thinking
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset and professional attitude
What will make you stand out:- Internship or co-op experience in geotechnical engineering
- Familiarity with field logging, lab testing, or foundation design
- Demonstrated leadership or mentorship potential
- Passion for geotechnical problem-solving and innovation
Preferred Certification(s):- OSHA 10 or 30-Hour Construction Safety (preferred, not required)
