About the role- Step into a high-leverage, full-stack product leadership role on the core Transition and Termination (T&T) team in San Francisco.
- You will act as an autonomous leader to drive the discovery, design, and full-stack execution of next-generation, customer-facing HR products.
- In this role, you will fill a crucial engineering leadership gap, instilling a rigorous, product-focused mindset to raise the overall execution and quality bar.
- You will tackle an incredibly complex matrix of global employment laws, modalities, and app integrations, questioning the status quo of legacy web systems and building seamless, modern workflows.
What you will do- Rethink and scale existing products for massive enterprise customers - identify product and technical gaps and deliver an opinionated redesigned approach.
- Build net-new, multi-modal workflows-including chat-driven, "digest-based" UIs-allowing bulk enterprise transitions to be managed efficiently using AI.
- Develop customer-facing products on top of a core temporality engine, creating conflict detection and intuitive UX for concurrent employee changes, such as mass compensation reviews.
- Partner tightly with Design, Sales, TAMs, Support, Product, and the HRIS Platform team to continuously iterate on prototypes and drive product direction.
- Establish a strict "definition of done" and enforce automated quality guardrails to systematically reduce regressions, operational effort, and support tickets.
What you will need- Extensive experience shipping complex, full-stack, customer-facing products.
- A highly product-minded approach rather than pure backend distributed systems architecture, coupled with deep customer empathy.
- The ability to break down massive product visions into iterative, shippable milestones and clearly justify your technical and product decisions.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to "steelman and strawman" decisions and build robust prognoses backed by evidence.
- Strong leadership and cross-functional communication abilities to mentor your team, manage across departments, and hold partners accountable.
