About the RoleIn this role, you will support the planning, design, and delivery of roadway and transportation projects that serve local communities in St. Louis and Missouri. Our Team tackles a wide variety of transportation projects from complex geometric designs such as Diverging Diamond Interchanges (DDIs) and roundabouts, to roadway widening safety improvement projects, to ADA sidewalk improvements, and cyclist and pedestrian trail projects. We strive to deliver high-quality construction plans to our clients, improving the infrastructure and day-to-day lives of our communities.
You'll work closely with experienced engineers and collaborate across disciplines including Water Resources, Structural, Municipal Services, and Construction. Because we're a close-knit team, you'll receive direct mentorship, meaningful project responsibilities, and opportunities to continue growing your technical expertise.
What You Will Be Doing- Support the planning, design, and delivery of roadway, highway, and intersection improvement projects
- Assist in preparing roadway plans, specifications, and technical reports
- Support storm sewer, culvert, and drainage infrastructure design for transportation projects
- Conduct field investigations and support construction-phase activities
- Communicate with project teams, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Collaborate with engineers across multiple disciplines to deliver successful projects

What You Bring- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) certification
- 3+ years of civil engineering experience with roadway experience preferred
- Experience in OpenRoads Designer and 3D modeling for transportation projects
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A desire to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibilities
