DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Completions and Commissioning Coordinator to support our growing OGC Completions and Commissioning Group. This role will plan and coordinate the safe and predictable transition of project systems through construction, mechanical completion, commissioning, client acceptance, and turnover to client.
Responsibilities include system scoping, schedule development, vendor coordination, hydro package development, turnover planning, I&C checkout, and field execution support. The successful candidate will provide input and coordination in mechanical, process, electrical and instrument disciplines. The successful candidate will also contribute to the continued development of the Completions and Commissioning Group by helping define operating practices, standardize workflows, and optimize the methods used to manage completions and turnover activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute completions and commissioning activities in accordance with company and project safety, quality, and operational requirements
- Develop, maintain, and coordinate the execution of project-specific completions plans.
- Develop and maintain system and subsystem boundaries aligned with the project's construction, commissioning, and turnover strategy.
- Develop and maintain integrated completions schedules, forecasts, milestones, and progress-tracking tools aligned with the overall project schedule.
- Coordinate across engineering, construction, commissioning, operations, vendors, and client teams to identify and resolve constraints affecting system completion and turnover.
- Lead the development of project hydro test packages and associated tracking tools, manage the transition to the field team for execution, status management, and closeout.
- Develop and coordinate vendor field-service plans, including scopes, required deliverables, mobilization timing, site prerequisites, execution interfaces, and closeout.
- Monitor and report completions progress, milestone performance, constraints, and forecasted impacts to system turnover dates.
- Coordinate and lead system walkdowns, punch-list development and tracking, and verification of system readiness for turnover.
- Implement and continuously improve standardized completions processes, workflows, tools, and data-management practices across assigned projects.
- Monitor completions readiness across engineering, construction, commissioning, operations and client teams and support cross-functional collaboration to remove constraints which may impact turnover and commissioning.
What Success Looks Like
- Deliver practical, integrated system completions plans that establish clear priorities, responsibilities, milestones, and turnover sequences
- Maintain alignment across engineering, construction, commissioning, operations, and client teams regarding system priorities, readiness requirements, and turnover sequencing.
- Ensure completions plans, turnover documentation, and records are accurate, complete, traceable, and delivered in accordance with project milestones.
- Identify completion and turnover constraints early, establish clear ownership, and track them through resolution before they affect project milestones.
- Contribute repeatable processes, tools, and lessons learned that improve consistency and repeatability across the Completions and Commissioning Group.
Work Environment
- This position will initially be office-based but will require temporary field assignments, site support, and project-related travel based on project needs. Candidates must be comfortable working in both office and active industrial environments.
Career Development
