Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field from an ABET accredited program required; or a master's degree with 2 years of experience.
• 3 years of civil engineering experience in consulting preferred.
• Strong knowledge in civil engineering techniques and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills in quantitative problem-solving environments.
• Proficient in relevant software like AutoCAD, MicroStation, BIM, and Civil 3D.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• EIT Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering efforts on assigned projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Design civil site infrastructure for electrical substations including grading, drainage, and stormwater management.
• Prepare drainage reports and conduct specialized engineering calculations.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, surveyors, and regulatory agencies for project execution.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and adherence to quality objectives.
• Support permitting processes and liaise with regulatory bodies as needed.
• Engage in on-site client meetings and construction support activities.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers and designers.
