Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program, along with 3 years of civil engineering experience, preferably in consulting, or
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or related Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited program and FE exam completion, plus 3 years of experience, ideally in consulting, or
• Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with 2 years of civil engineering experience, preferably in consulting.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering techniques and principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, etc.) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil design packages from concept to construction.
• Design site access, grading, and earthwork modeling.
• Develop sediment controls and stormwater management practices per local guidelines.
• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic calculations.
• Create stormwater management studies and SWPPP documentation.
• Design water/sewer utility connections to public mains.
• Prepare civil construction specifications and support bidding processes.
• Review contractor submissions and prepare as-built documentation.
