Role Summary

Rivian 3P Service and Collision Programs is seeking a Staff Business Systems Analyst to scale operations via streamlined software enhancements. This position will work closely with all areas of the Certified Collision Program including Authorized Service, R&D Workshop as well as Learning and Development, Third Party Aftersales Support and other teams. You will play a vital role in supporting and executing projects to enable Rivian vehicle repairs through third-party businesses. The successful candidate will possess strong technical acumen with a track record of evaluating software ecosystems, architecting scalable data pipelines, and optimizing internal tools for maximum efficiency and meticulous attention to detail. Additionally, excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in data analysis and visualization, are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, design and implement technical tool capabilities across Collision and 3P Service programs, driving technical solutions-whether via custom integrations, pipeline automation, internal tools or platform migration-that solve operational bottlenecks
• Serve as a liaison between engineering data structures and business execution, ensuring technical solutions align with program objectives and operational needs.
• Define and implement automation strategies that scale operational frameworks and reduce manual intervention across technical workflows.
• Collaborate with related stakeholders across the 3P Service and Collision Programs to align on projects, goals, prioritization, roadmaps, and track progress from concept to launch/grow/optimize each project.
• Operates directly within engineering platforms (Databricks, GitLab, JIRA, 3DEXPERIENCE) to investigate pipeline failures, analyze missing SBoM attributes, and support cross-system integrations.
• Develop and maintain Databricks-to-JIRA data ingestion pipelines to centralize engineering data and enable automated intake, tracking and data governance
• Translate technical system behaviors and data pipeline outputs into executable program plans; partner with engineering teams to prioritize fixes, releases, and enhancements
• Create structured queries, dashboards, and reporting to enable non-technical stakeholders to leverage engineering data for faster root-cause identification and resolution
• Identify SBoM data gaps impacting part selection accuracy, cost avoidance, and downstream operational readiness; drive cross-functional remediation
• Diagnose repository logic and support GitLab deployment troubleshooting for job failures, enhancements, and configuration updates
• Manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects to fulfill program requirements and timelines
• Identify areas of development within the third party service and collision organization and implementing strategies to enable scale, enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service experience
• Role requires high levels of initiative, independent judgement and indirect leadership capability

Qualifications

• Self-starter who is goal-oriented, highly motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• 6+ years of experience in Automotive, with a focus on collaboration with software development
• Technical understanding of vehicle systems and development
• Demonstrated experience designing API integrations, data workflows, and system architectures across enterprise environments
• Hands-on technical capabilities with SQL, ETL pipelines (Databricks), and repository/deployment logic (GitLab)
• Proven ability to conduct root-cause technical analysis on pipeline job failures and complex data gaps
• Proficient in Jira, Lucid, Confluence, Databricks, Hex other data management tools
• Strong collaborator, with a willingness to drive change.
• Strong program management and timeline/task execution (able to drive to critical path)
• Drive cross-functional technical programs from concept to launch, defining critical path execution while aligning engineering and business stakeholders
• Broad experience defining, launching, and driving strategic process redesign initiatives to improve internal and external processes and operations, working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a technology environment.
• Ability to lead through influence, not necessarily reporting structure.
• Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities, particularly in response to urgent issues.

• Develop and communicate a program vision and concepts effectively to diverse audiences using various online platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure while dealing with ambiguity.
• Willingness to travel when necessary

Pay Disclosure

The salary range for this role is USD 149,700-187,100 for San Francisco based applicants and USD 131,800-164,700 based Texas applicants and 125,800-157,200 based Michigan applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs.

The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus and equity awards.
