Full Job Description
Peoplevisor is seeking Workday Payroll, Absence and/or Time Tracking consultants with HCM systems experience and expertise in the areas of Payroll, Absence and/or Time Tracking with a technical aptitude and capability to configure the product to meet the business requirements and design specifications of our clients. As a Sr. Workday Consultant, you will be expected to provide expert guidance and delivery on all project engagements. You will also be responsible for managing to the agreed budget and delivering the project profitably.

KEY EXPECTATIONS

  • This is a client facing role with assigned responsibilities that will include acting as a primary/lead consultant on projects regardless of size or strategic importance.
  • Workday expert with knowledge of design, configuration, testing, and implementation.
  • Superior communication, consultative and presentation skills with solid technical abilities to lead client engagements.
  • Continuous commitment to utilizing the Workday methodology, which includes driving team members to utilize these tools.
  • Experience in data loads, validation and extraction of Workday Data (iLoads, EIB, workbooks, XML, etc.)
  • Responsible for all Workday functional areas on assigned implementations, ensuring efficient, cohesive, and accurate design and configuration of the delivered solution.
  • Provide expert client management skills that includes capturing of business requirements, providing options and sharing best practices within the Workday ecosystem, as well as participating in business development discussions to deepen relationships.
  • Lead multiple, concurrent Workday implementation projects.
  • Develop relationships with appropriate Workday employees and other partners as a representative of Peoplevisor.
  • Design and implement solutions to solve highly complex technical and business problems.
  • Accountable for data validation and integrity issues.
  • Work with project managers and other consultants to forecast the hours allocated for your role across the project timeline. Provide your project manager with weekly updates to estimate the hours needed to complete the work and updates to forecasted hours.
  • The successful candidate is very confident with a strong opinion and experience, to make recommendations and can hold their own in supporting these recommendations.
  • Configuration experience; be able to drive process design and should be able to learn as needed.
  • Lead testing efforts of the client during UAT, as well as provide support and guidance to the client's parallel payroll testing.
  • Accountable for the successful deployment of your workstream into production.
  • Understand and work toward the responsibilities of the next level.


DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, HRIS, Accounting, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of Workday functional implementation experience, highly desired.
  • Workday HCM and Launch certifications, highly desired.
  • 2-5 years Human Resources, Payroll, or Financial software experience, required.
  • 2-5 years previous experience deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate or similar applications highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated functional experience in Human Resources, Payroll, Absence or Time (Time Tracking, Time Entry, Time & Labor, Time & Attendance).
  • Project management or team lead experience, required.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a solid commitment to detail.
  • Passion for exceptional customer service and customer collaboration.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively manage customer expectations.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint programs.
  • Willingness to reach across teams to accomplish defined goals.
  • Ability to travel up to +/- 30%.
