Sr. Treasury Solution Consultant

POSITION SUMMARY

This role is responsible for driving Treasury Management revenue with a specialized focus on payables solutions by partnering with Relationship Managers, Treasury Management Officers, Product teams, and external fintech partners to design and deliver strategies that optimize how clients pay out B2B and B2C funds. Serving as a consultative expert, the position requires deep knowledge of Accounts Payable workflows, ERP integrations, and payment industry trends to improve procure-to-pay automation and working capital efficiency.

The role combines technical acumen with strong client engagement, guiding organizations through payments modernization while supporting complex opportunities and influencing product innovation through market and client insights.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrate deepproficiencyinPayables Automation solutions, includingbut not limited toCommercial Card,ACH,Wire, Real-Time Payments, Check Print,and associated bundled solutions offered by both banks and FinTech's

• Serve as asubject matter expert in Accounts Payable workflows, including Purchase Order, Invoice and Payment execution, reconciliation, API trends, working capital implications, and ERP systems.

• Maintain sales pipeline visibility and drive opportunities through closure to maximize business revenue and growth

• Conduct Business Process Reviews with clients to map out their end-to-end Procure-to-Pay operations and find opportunities for optimization

• Provideconsultative guidance onpayables digitization strategies, including migration from paper-based to electronic channels.

• Analyze and articulate the impact of solutions onoperational efficiency, working capital, liquidity and reporting.

• Identifyopportunities to enhance product capabilities based onclient needs, ERP trends, and fintech innovation and collaborate with Product partners to inform their roadmap

• Ability to facilitate complex business and solution discussions, translating advanced processes and technologies into clear, practical concepts that drive understanding and informed decision-making.

• Represent Fifth Third in client presentations, industry forums, and strategic discussions related topaymentsmodernization andpayablestransformation.

• Facilitate and lead internal and external educational sessions that build knowledge, confidence, and understanding of complex Payables solutions

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE,SKILLSAND ABILITIES

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experiencerequired.

• 5+ years of Treasury Management, Payments, Fintech, or ERP-related experience.

• DemonstratedexpertiseinAccounts Payable processeswithin mid-market or large corporate environments.

• Strong technical knowledge in integrating banking solutions withERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics).

• Familiarity withAPIs, host-to-host connectivity, file-based integrations (EDI, XML, CSV), and data transformation/mapping.

• Demonstrated ability to engage intechnical and operational conversations with client stakeholders, including Treasury, IT, and Finance teams.

• Experience working with or alongsidefintech platforms(e.g., AP automation, payment aggregators, reconciliation tools)preferred.

• Proven consultative selling skills withabilityto translateclient workflows into actionable solution design.

• Strong communication& presentation skills, including the ability to explaincomplex integrations in business terms.

• Ability to work well with teammates, partners, and clients to deliver results

Total Base Pay Range 96,500.00 - 207,500.00 USD Annual

LOCATION -- Virtual, but must be located in CA, AZ, NV, UT, OR, WA, or ID with the ability to accommodate Pacific Standard Time working hours.
