Full Job Description
The Global Procurement Central Services team (GPCS) is seeking a Sr. Supply Chain Manager to work on a complex global project with the XCM marketing team. This role owns the physical end to end delivery of packaging marketing through voice of the customer, vision, roadmaps, and fulfillment. This role requires a strong leader in business, stakeholder management, and technical knowledge. They drive project management and process improvement across the end to end forecasting, production, delivery, and supply planning to manage just in time inventory management from the suppliers to the fulfillment centers. Specifically, ownership includes: 1) Campaign planning and pre-launch readiness: Leads forecasting, FC randomization supplier inputs, sensitivity planning, print proofing, quality assurance, supplier production, barcode setup, and communication to Site Procurement in the FCs. 2) Operational Launch Excellence: Manages campaign ramp up and ramp down by FC and pack type, tracks campaign operational throughput for issues, and manages end of campaign transitions such as floor sweeps, destruction of outdated packaging, and write-off allocations. If issues arise, this Sr. Supply Chain Manager mitigates issues in a timely manner. 3) Innovation Projects: Leads marketing expansion projects to scale this media channel worldwide. Examples include scoping user stories to peer product manager to integrate marketing SKUs into forecasting and purchasing systems (e.g., Delphi, Coupa), or managing the expansion of marketing into new FCs, pack types, or worldwide locales in partnership with Sr. Supply Chain Manager, CPEX, Category owners, ACES, and XCM.

Work with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems

-Work with technology teams and product managers to develop new tools and systems to support the growth and scalability of the business

-Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end to end outcomes for Amazon customers

Manage new and existing programs, successfully delivering difficult projects and goals across multiple organizations Work directly with operations leaders, support leaders, and third party vendors to design and deliver scalable solutions Partner with other program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities and milestones and deliver on-time Own program communication; accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, removing barriers, escalating as appropriate Influence design and development of strategic processes Work with program managers and business leaders to communicate and impact critical business initiatives Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects and using this data to drive/influence business decisions Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end-to-end outcomes for Amazon customers Manage post-launch support plans (e.g., post-mortem, issue/ticket management, etc.) and look for opportunities to improve program quality and operational excellence

About the team

The GPCS team is a global team responsible for ordering, forecasting, and demand planning for non-inventory goods and services. We prioritize our operations customers while developing strong relationships with suppliers, and key stakeholders across the Global Procurement Organization and other Amazon businesses. Our team centralizes non-inventory processes in order to drive standardization, cost reduction, and efficiencies, and operates on a 24/7 basis to provide consistent support to stakeholders. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience

- 5+ years of supply chain experience

- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
