Responsibilities

Full Job Description
Position Summary:

The Project Performance Specialist supports improvement of Engineering and Construction project execution processes. This role manages the company's Lessons Learned Program, promotes knowledge sharing between PMs and project support groups, identifies and implements process efficiencies for project execution, and coordinates technical training. The position plays a key role in capturing valuable project knowledge, communicating effective practices, and supporting continuous improvements that strengthen project delivery and overall business results.

Key Responsibilities:

Continuous Improvement & Lessons Learned
  • Lead the Company's Lessons Learned Program, engaging with relevant stakeholders, facilitating workshops to capture, analyze, and apply lessons learned across E&C.
  • Coordinate and facilitate E&C business unit roundtables (Pipelines, Processing, Gathering, & Rotating Equipment) that reinforce peer to peer information sharing and professional development.
  • Identify and track lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives, while supporting accountability and closure of lesson learned action items.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics that support continuous improvement objectives and performance monitoring.
  • Evaluate lessons learned and stakeholder feedback to identify trends and develop and implement improvements to address trended data.
  • Partner with Leadership, project teams, and subject matter experts to drive knowledge transfer, strengthen project management capabilities, and promote adoption of best practices across the organization.

Technical Training & PM Development
  • Foster knowledge transfer and professional development through collaboration, training, and organizational learning programs.
  • Coordinate technical training programs in partnership with internal subject matter experts and external training providers and vendors to support Engineering and Construction project execution.
  • Collaborate with project teams, leadership, and subject matter experts to identify training needs and development opportunities arising from lessons learned workshops, project management roundtables, project performance trends, and other continuous improvement activities.

• Support the development and delivery of technical training, project management development programs, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and learning resources that address identified gaps and promote adoption of best practices.
  • Maintain training metrics and provide reporting to support evaluation and continuous improvement of development initiatives.

Standards and Project Support
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Company Engineering Standards, industry specifications, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Support project teams and functional groups by promoting compliance with established standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Serve as a cross-functional resource to support consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness across project delivery functions.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, construction, continuous improvement, project controls, project support, technical training, organizational learning, or related functions.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, lessons learned sessions, training programs, roundtables, or other cross-functional stakeholder engagements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, evaluate business needs, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with employees, stakeholders, and leaders at all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Power BI, and Learning Management Systems (LMS). Ability to travel as needed.
